Philadelphia to Athens: USS Eldridge Wartime Mission

Scotland Yard investigated the Third Reich doppelganger theory (British Council infiltration by Bavarian Illuminati or Astrum Argentium “Silver Star”) and the final report now remains hidden from the public. A hundred-year ban has been imposed on key facts concerning the so-called deaths of certain German leaders. The US Navy, on the other hand, keeps its own documents (Stargate Project) and is ready to make public any information required to bear out that American forces were not drawn into unlawful activity.

Near the end of World War II, the Third Reich’s nuclear strategy was in disarray. Berlin was unable to produce a working atomic weapon. Nor could it power up the great “uranium engine” that its top scientists had presumably designed. But in the eastern Mediterranean, things were remarkably different. There, diverse ships’ crewmembers spoke secretly of an American floating atomic reactor.

In 1961, a converted liberty ship called the Sturgis was part of the US Army Nuclear Power Program and supplied 10 MW (13,000 hp) of electricity. The MH-1A (MH- mobile, high power) was a pressurized nuclear power reactor built by Martin Marietta and mounted on the USS Sturgis. It was said to be the world’s first floating nuclear power station.

Yet rumors of a floating multi-megawatt power system started in World War II, when atomic research was still publicly disavowed and kept secret. The so-called Philadelphia Experiment was alleged to be a 1943 experiment by the U.S. Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, in which the U.S. naval destroyer USS Eldridge and her crew briefly experienced strange physical alterations. High-frequency experiments were carried out later with the generating plant of another destroyer, the USS Timmerman:

“In the 1950’s this ship was part of an experiment to test the effects of a small, high-frequency generator providing l,000hz instead of the standard 400hz. The higher frequency generator produced corona discharges and other well known phenomena associated with high frequency generators.” (www.history.navy.mil)

Whatever occurred in the Philadelphia shipyard was only an experiment. The “actual wartime mission” of the USS Eldridge took place shortly thereafter, in part of the eastern Mediterranean Sea. It had been taken for granted by some maritime historians that the US destroyer was in fact a nautical nuclear reactor (as a naval back-up system) for the top-secret Manhattan Project to develop the first atomic bomb.

A reactor’s core sometimes discharges a corona of photons (Cerenkov effect) giving the sense of partial transparency or see-through visibility.  As long as the Philadelphia Experiment’s critics lectured only about electromagnetic fields or invisibility shields, and not the fissile properties of uranium-235 or the fusion reactions of nuclei, the floating atomic power station effectively remained under wraps following the war.

The USS Eldridge (DE-173) was a destroyer escort that assisted with Mediterranean convoys. The convoys included around 100 ships. A division consisted of six ships. In the same division with the USS Eldridge were the USS Carol, the USS Atherton, and the USS Amick. Between 4 January 1944 and 9 May 1945, they sailed on the vital task of escorting men and materials to the eastern Mediterranean.

Carlos Miguel Allende, (Carl Meredith Allen) wrote a series of letters in 1955 to UFO researcher Morris K. Jessup. Allende claimed to have witnessed a ship in Philadelphia made “invisible” with electromagnetic fields when he was a sailor in 1943. The Office of Naval Research asked Jessup to travel to Washington D.C. to discuss the strange letters with its naval officers. In 1959 Jessup was found dead in a car from suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning.

Writers Brad Steiger and Sherry Hansen at first scanned the records of hidden naval technology that was once known as Project Rainbow. The book, “The Philadelphia Experiment: Project Invisibility,” by William Moore and Charles Berlitz came out in 1979. Alleged crewmember Alfred Bielek in effect later claimed that it was a space-time experiment linked to the Montauk Project. One of the supposed guides of the so-called “Montauk time vortex” was none other than the ill-famed occultist Aleister Crowley.

While Crowley was a branded pro-German propagandist and blatant sympathizer of fascism, he was also a prominent symbol of London fringe-masonry and in contact with British intelligence. Since the actual wartime mission of the escort ship took place in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, military observers wondered if Aleister Crowley used his “mole” talents to somehow pilfer US naval technology during that chaotic period.

Conceivably, top US military commanders wanted the Nazis to find out that America had the world’s first floating nuclear reactor. By demonstrating its “utility” in a liberated eastern Mediterranean port and allowing Third Reich leaders to believe the nuclear barge would soon fall into their hands, native German attempts to unlock their own uranium engine might be put on hold.

A counterintelligence strategy to persuade misinformed Gestapo moles that Germany would effortlessly gain control of the nuclear barge might have kept the Nazi pipe dream going long enough to cut off Hitler’s Germany — with no Reich military-grade reactor by the war’s end. But first, the gallant escort ship would need to make known its mobile nuclear capacity. Just around that time, a failed mutiny disrupted the chief Allied harbor of the eastern Mediterranean — the main cruise ship port in Europe, and the third largest in the world.

“Don’t look at the hole for too long,” warned the elderly sea commander.

“What hole?” asked the port supervisor.

“The dark hole inside the gap of nuclear fission,” the captain replied.  “It can be steel or any element. But don’t let your view converge on it without adequate eye protection. The radiation can deprive you of sight.”

The port boss was a Gestapo mole. He had brokered a hard line agreement for a utility demonstration in the liberated port, as a deterrent display of force. The catch was to generate a tiny but credible amount of nuclear energy — a negligible neutron source — only just strong enough to roast an acorn or heat a pizza.

To bear out its potential, with a tactful show of degaussing to counteract the magnetic field of the ship, the American destroyer would pump “a very weak particle beam” into what looked like an ordinary gas pipe on the docks. In this way, the Allies would aim to flush out and map a rogue Nazi target assembly buried somewhere under the ancient streets of the eastern Mediterranean city.

“Don’t look at the hole for too long,” the sea captain warned again. “Let it pass like a distant flash.” He knew just what the cruel Gestapo mole was capable of. A botched port mutiny would soon add fuel to a bitter civil war and facilitate the start of the Cold War.

Stewart Raffill directed the 1984 movie “The Philadelphia Experiment.” The 1989 music video “If I Could Turn Back Time” from singer Cher played on feelings that a warship crossed the brink into hyperspace. The leading rank of Scientology is the “Sea Organization,” an elite group wearing naval uniforms that deal out weird beliefs on a ship.

The USS Eldridge became the property of the Greek Navy in 1951 and was renamed the HS Leon (D-54). In neighborhood movie theaters, the daughter National Star of Greece, Aliki Vougiouklaki, was put on show dressed up as a sailor to lionize the Greek Navy.

Even though Greece was considered peripheral and inadequate at the time, American bureaucrats directly constructed the Democritus Nuclear Research Center with a reactor and decontamination unit in Athens. A funicular cliff cable railway opened to the public.

The HS Leon was reportedly sold as scrap after the year 2000. Still, up-and-coming these days is the plan of providing “floating nuclear reactors” to power cities. The Russian company Rosenergoatom is setting up a mobile megawatt-floating barge to deliver nuclear energy to inaccessible areas. The planned nuclear ship is said to be thoroughly blueprinted and ecologically safe.

When asked why American troops weren’t first to enter Berlin in 1945, General Dwight D. Eisenhower usually answered that they were looking for Adolf Hitler in his Southern Redoubt stronghold. Yet, talk that the German program couldn’t power up its nuclear reactor was not unfounded. The US Army’s “Alsos Mission” commenced in 1943. It was named with the Greek term for an amusement park or “sacred grove” in honor of General Leslie Groves, in charge of the Manhattan Project. The Alsos exploration of Nazi military sites confirmed that Germany did not turn out an atomic bomb.

At the end of World War II, the Anglo-American Allies rounded up Adolf Hitler’s top nuclear scientists and secretly transferred them to an English country house in Cambridge known as Farm Hall. In what was called “Operation Epsilon” the German scientists remained under house arrest for six months where their conversations were recorded, transcribed, and translated. From those recordings we learned that Hitler was not particularly interested in developing an atomic bomb. Instead, the Nazis were secretly working on a “uranium engine” or super reactor for military purposes:

“I would say that I was absolutely convinced of the possibility of our making a uranium engine, but I never thought we would make a bomb, and at the bottom of my heart I was really glad that it was to be an engine and not a bomb.” (Werner Heisenberg).

The 2000 Tony Award-winning play “Copenhagen” is Michael Frayn’s view of the puzzling meeting between the famous physicists Werner Heisenberg, a German, and Niels Bohr, a Dane, in Nazi-occupied Denmark during the war. Because Heisenberg, a founder of quantum theory who headed the Reich nuclear research team, was not an admirer of Hitler, a security screen or safeguard had to be set up. Heisenberg’s group was required to produce mathematical formulae and small working models of the proposed uranium engine. Then, all construction work was transferred to loyal Nazi, Abraham Esau, the head of the German Bureau of Standards that supervised the building of large-scale atomic projects under Albert Speer. Esau was also in charge of Reich uranium and heavy water (deuterium).

The Allies did not make known the large-scale nuclear military designs of Esau in detail. The research bureau of the Reich Post Office concealed various independent branches of Nazi atomic experimentation. Perhaps only ten percent of the Farm Hall conversations were released in manuscript form: “Some of the German transcriptions are not available in the British or American files and are apparently lost.” But according to the recordings, the German scientists seemed to be more interested in high-energy rays than atomic explosions. At one point they discussed the possibility of Farm Hall being bugged with microphones.

Before the war’s end, a disturbing story emerged that took stock of the German Redoubt as an underground stronghold connected by rail to Fortress Europe. Even Eisenhower’s headquarters took it very seriously. “The Redoubt idea produced in the mindset of the Allied Command the sense that if — and when — Hitler was found it would be in the south.” On the eve of the Normandy invasion an Allied Command wartime report concluded that:

“It seems reasonably certain that some of the most important ministries and personalities of the Nazi regime are already established in the Redoubt area. Goring, Himmler, Hitler are said to be in the process of withdrawing to their respective personal mountain strongholds.”

In the embittered end, the magic child hesitated and would not struggle, betraying the spiteful promise of an ultimate blitzkrieg. When the guards discerned he was taking far too long to stagger out the door, they were smitten with alarm and apprehension. But when a control fuel pipe was sabotaged shortly afterward, they realized their uranium engine now could not power up, and the war would be lost. The anger was beyond words. Instead of rising up, the magic child favored suicide, and wished to die in a bunker.

Consequently, a backup plan directly went into action. In place of a damaged control duct, a US destroyer would be manipulated, evasively. Even though the escort ship’s nuclear surge would not send out as much energy as required to sustain a chain reaction, the floating atomic barge was here on a clear mission to conquer. Its convoy ruled the sea and drove back all refusals to go along with it. An American display of nuclear governance in the liberated seaport would signify the end of the German war effort.

In their brutal resentment, the guards pledged their hostage a fate far worse than dying: binary fission, fully awake. They would force the magic child to taste the death ray — the neutron beam invented by James Chadwick in the 1930s. When a neutron source collides with a fissile uranium target, a nuclear reaction occurs, which can be controlled to produce energy.

“The Guns of Navarone” is a 1961 film based on a World War II novel by Alistair MacLean, starring Gregory Peck, David Niven, and Anthony Quinn. It depicts the efforts of an Allied commando team to enter an impregnable Nazi fortress in occupied Greek territory and destroy a massive German gun emplacement that commands a key sea channel.

In actual fact, above and across a stylish street in Athens called “Navarinou,” corners of an ancient hilltop are hollow inside and contain cannons and mounted guns that command the waterway of the largest passenger port in Europe. German architects built a number of military bunkers, passages, and rooms inside that raised mass of earth before the war.

“Escape to Athena” is a 1979 war film directed by George Cosmatos, starring Roger Moore, Telly Savalas, and David Niven. It portrays the actions of uncultivated Greek partisans who make off with art treasures from the Nazis, and consequently wipe out a garrison stronghold of V2 rockets in German-occupied Greece capable of stopping an Allied invasion.

Yet, the most atrocious secret weapon of the Southern Redoubt gossip was said to be a type of “death ray.” Perhaps it is garishly portrayed in “Goldfinger,” a 1964 movie with Sean Connery based on Ian Fleming’s spy novel. True to form, secret agent James Bond is strapped to a table under a searing laser, which slowly begins to slice the table in half.

Strong controlled fission beams may release radiation and intense heat that can vaporize elements, similar to an industrial laser. But nuclear particle collisions may also fleetingly create microscopic black holes — and momentarily “warp” the gravitational structure of space and time: “A fireball created in a US particle accelerator has the characteristics of a black hole, a physicist has said.”

It was generated at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in New York, US, which smashes beams of gold nuclei together at near light speeds.

Nearly all of the dockworkers were told that wooden cases on the wharf with “MEL” marked on them contained honey, and that laborers dressed in beekeepers suits were preparing beehive products for the fleet. In the spring of 1945, only a few sailors recognized that full body suits, gloves, and face shields protected physicists from radioactivity in a floating atomic reactor.

Camouflaging the ship’s glowing discharge was rather more difficult, but still within the acceptable limits of an atmospheric reflection. The escort ship’s nuclear energy lined up with its destination duct just as the attempted seaport mutiny began. A rainbow thunderstorm roared. Siren devices wailed out warning sounds. Power surges and spikes occurred throughout the Mediterranean metropolis, releasing electrical charges at several points in the power lines.

Allied aircraft watched from the sky for signs below of surrender. It came at last when a water outflow was quickly spotted over twelve kilometers away. A conduit hydrant had split open, flooding part of a recreational area’s boulevard.

The assault units arrived within minutes. Some of the brigade dashed up through the subway. Others got there with military vehicles. Near the boulevard was an abandoned German motor van, blocking the entrance of a well-designed tenement. Long black hoses zigzagged from an outlet panel on the side of the van to gas pipe sockets in the pavement. The van was a mobile mechanism to maneuver a neutron source through an accelerator’s channel and divert it to its target assembly. The alleyway was swamped with slippery streams of lubricants.

The assault units searched for more German technical machinery. But the task forces arrived first. The Gestapo mole was waiting for them at the driveway of the bunker when the revenge squads got there. The decoy bunker complex had been completely evacuated. There were no signs of life inside — except in the last resting place.

Visionaries imagine human travel at light speed in terms of a whole, intact person. But the Nazis did not. They crudely annihilated a human guinea pig in a concrete encased reactor. Some particles did reach light speed. The rest of the confused mass was fully awake, still alive, but not for long.

Fighters jumped down brickwork stairwells to the sunken internal chamber. They were met with a gruesome spectacle when they discovered the human target assembly. Dire pursuit of criminal organ trafficking at last uncovered the shocking traces of a vicious biological experiment. The genital member was scorched. A lonely wooden chair was splintered with a hole.

The Gestapo mole quickly pulled a coil from the back of the victim’s collar and flung him over a slippery mattress. He said the captive was in a coma and beyond hope. The mole then fired his handgun. What began as a revenge mission ended as a mercy killing.

“We got the real one,” an assault unit negotiator yelled into his radio communication microphone at the top of his voice. “The soldier is dead. He was shot in the head. He was sick.”

Sick unto death — like a brain in a vat. Feet of clay were used to psychologically torture the magic child, who was forced to remain perfectly still and motionless. A ball of clay or soil had been pasted around the foot of his chair. A shift of the chair would cause the clay lump to crumble and break into smaller fragments. Guards could then measure the lightest movements that took place when they were not present, and correspondingly discipline their prisoner.

It looked as if the guards had by some means produced a pulsed spark of atomic lightning, in high peak power. The heat and wavelength of the loose fireball diverged at an angle. The fireball’s broad frequencies did not appear to emit enough energy to chemically transform substances by simple thermal transfer. But its focal core gave off the burst of a cutting machine.

Germany’s discovery of nuclear fission in 1938 fulfilled one of alchemy’s greatest goals: the transmutation of elements. New forms of matter could be created out of others.  It marked a turning point for magical orders that sought to transform the elements.  In a Nazi decoy bunker, a living soul became dense, primordial matter. An atomic trace of plutonium — corrosive, unlawful to possess — was created in a human breeder reactor.

Identification photos were taken. According to the Gestapo mole’s settlement, the scorched body would be moved at once to Germany and be retrieved by Russians in the Chancellery ruins of Berlin. The extra precautions — disposed of in a garden and additionally cremated with gasoline — would prevent rebellion among Third Reich radicals and lock up the swift lying down of arms.

Within 24 hours, large crowds would be celebrating in Europe. The news reports would be brief but quite exact: The ailing leader had spent nearly all of his period of influence in a cavernous bunker — on the map, below Berlin — where he directed lightning war tactics under the most demanding conditions. When his blitzkrieg undertakings failed, he decided to finish his life in his dugout headquarters. After the war, the decommissioned atomic escort ship would go to the Greek Navy to evoke an enduring moment of the past, for old times’ sake.

Not surprisingly, unreliable troop rumors would go on retelling of transportation in time, and servicemen’s limbs implanted in sections of the wall. However, the missing body part reports would never fully require an official answer. That anomaly, in common with the scorched genital member, would appear improper — as a juvenile joke implied in pubs or beer halls.

As the Third Reich buckled in the spring of 1945, the sweeping caves of the taboo Southern Redoubt were ransacked of arms and equipment. The bombproof units that were to survive and reorganize Nazism became fetid ditches of rubbish and discarded articles. The Germans ravaged the bunkers before they retreated. Red Indian assault units seized war machinery and technical equipment. Some cavern access-points were deliberately damaged with explosives so the entrances could not be located. Many were sealed shut.

In hindsight, a hollow slope protected by ancient myths and buried pillars may have been a natural choice for pompous German leaders wanting to conceal their Redoubt fortress and conduct secret atomic research in the land of Democritus. The Fuhrer announced his official arrival to Nazi-occupied Greece in 1941.

Yet, if 20^th century technology did produce an atomic fireball to twist the truth of space and time, and send life’s gene pool into a vortex, was it really such a well-preserved secret? The marble quarries of Athens have been associated with mysterious activity since ancient times. The doctrine of “purgatory” over the centuries depicts it as a mountain stronghold in the south, considered a way of purification:

“The nethermost cavities of Hades are beneath a mountain called lucid by the wolves, the unseen place of scorpions. It is a hideaway of the lost, as Dante’s Inferno, holding its prisoners beyond the seven gates and the sea below all seas, reaching under Jerusalem.

“The mystery of the uranium engine is a furnace of Greek atomism that rises up from the underworld known as the abyss. It is where primordial forces sought by the ancients build the flames. Splitting Democritus’ atom, the dark spaces between stars are set on fire, and from Leucippus’ broken star new forms of matter are created.

“Grim is the hollow of remorse in the cavernous cauldron of purgatory. Beneath that tarnished bronze door is a sight almost too terrible for humans. There, kings, ministers, and soldiers selfishly contend with the atom’s strongest force, tearing at the very fabric of space and time, and reworking chaste nature into other realities. In that dreadful inferno, one sits forever, whose blinking of an eye brought death to thousands.”

Using an adaptation of Einstein’s general theory of relativity, Nikodem Poplawski, of Indiana University, Bloomington, analysed the theoretical motion of particles entering a black hole.

He concluded that it was possible for a whole new universe to exist inside every black hole, which could mean that our own universe could be inside a black hole as well.

Final Stage: Lightning and the Savant

Metal bending celebrity Uri Geller first became conscious of his strange ability when he was approximately five years old. He was playing in a neighbor’s yard in Tel Aviv when “a light from the sky” hit him and knocked him to the ground. Soon after that, he was having a bowl of soup — when his spoon bent and broke.

Years later, an Israeli man named Yaakov Avrahami recalled in the past going to a Tel Aviv bus station and seeing a ball of light: “At that certain moment I noticed a little boy with a white shirt come out from the building to the left.” Avrahami said he saw the ball of light trail the youngster.

The exact cause and composition of ball lightning has yet to be determined. There may be several different varieties. But it usually appears as a grapefruit-sized sphere of light moving slowly through the air, which may end by fizzling out or exploding.

Prominent witnesses have observed ball lightning in previous times. In Acts 2:3, “tongues of fire” seemed to float around on the day of Pentecost. Czar Nicholas II, the last Emperor of Russia, reported seeing a ball of light float into the window of a small church while in the company of his grandfather: “The ball (it was of lightning) whirled around the floor, then passed the chandelier and flew out through the door into the park.”

The Dutch News agency recently reported that on July 19, 2009, at least 100 homes in a district of the town of Soesterberg were hit by ball lightning. The lightning, a rare atmospheric phenomenon, wrecked hundreds of televisions, computers, telephones and central heating systems, the report said. In some households, flames came out of electronic equipment. In others, electric sockets sprang off the wall. “I saw the lightning shoot through the street,” one eyewitness told reporters. “The fireball hit a large fir tree and then went into a house,” he said.

Before Uri Geller finished his ten-week Greek reality show TV series “O diadohos tou Uri Geller” (The Successor of Uri Geller) introduced on October 24, 2009, I had the opportunity to attend his 8th program. I was in the ANT1 TV Athens studio audience on December 12.

In the studio cafeteria I bumped into Uri’s wife, Hanna, encircled by a group of young people with soft drinks and sweets. The senior editor of Focus magazine Christos Tsanakas chatted about statistics and dark matter with iconographer Giannis Tsolakos and his son Dionysus close by. Escorted by production assistant Laura Neri, I briefly greeted Uri Geller in his dressing room. But the situation there was far too rushed and jumping with folks for Uri to manage any of my mind testing.

Antenna TV host Christos Ferendinos and his creative director Kostas Grigorakis carefully reviewed last-minute details before the live broadcast. Countess Vanessa Kosta Pomponi with her husband Paolo and a few friends were also in the audience, keenly waiting for the show to get underway. Guest stars that gathered on the stage included model and presenter Vicky Kaya, and other national television celebrities.

The ANT1 TV studio was well designed and up to date. I walked around a multiplex of rooms specifically constructed for recording live to video. I unconsciously sensed that Zakris would finally win the Greek mentalist talent show. But I was also concerned that some observers were cautious about Uri Geller, accusing him of misleading the public with claims of supernatural powers.

What happens to you when you get struck by lightning? In “Act of God,” the Canadian filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal portrayed real-life stories to examine the jarring subject. In his book “Struck by Lightning,” mathematician Jeffrey Rosenthal endeavored to find out how often a result will happen just by chance. Some traditional beliefs suggest that people who miraculously survive lightning strikes can develop extraordinary talents.

Convincing proof emerged in the United States in 1994, when 42-year-old orthopedic surgeon Tony Cicoria was struck by lightning and quickly developed a passion to play the grand piano. He is depicted in the book “Musicophilia” by neurologist and author Oliver Sacks, whose acclaimed “Awakenings” was made into a film with Robin Williams and Robert De Niro. Tony Cicoria wasn’t musically gifted before the lightning strike. But ever since, his aspiration to play the piano has been fervent. Now, he plays to sold-out audiences and lately premiered his “Lightning Sonata,” a tour de force motivated by Cicoria’s weird incident. In the 1996 film “Phenomenon,” John Travolta was struck by lightning and realized extraordinary powers.

Savant Syndrome is a rare, but amazing condition in which persons exhibit almost unimaginable mental powers –– including musical, mathematical, artistic, verbal, and calendrical “savantism.” The website of the Wisconsin Medical Society lists 29 savant profiles. As described by leading researcher Darold Treffert, the Acquired Savant has extraordinary intellectual abilities as a result of traumatic brain injury or autism and developmental disability. But the Sudden Savant is an otherwise normal person who suddenly and unexpectedly acquires savant-like talent.

The autistic genius Kim Peek was the basis for the 1988 academy-award-winning film “Rain Man,” with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. It brought international attention to the Savant syndrome. Nowadays, Daniel Tammet is a well-known numerical savant who can figure out cube roots quicker than a calculator and recall pi to 22,514 decimal places. Stephen Wiltshire has the ability to draw exact replicas of what his eyes have seen after a quick glance, down to the exact number of windows in tall skyscrapers. Albert Einstein was a math savant who had slight autism symptoms. Benjamin Franklin, the explorer of electricity, was also a gifted savant –– evidently struck by lightning.

Medical research is presently looking into lightning’s possible effects on the human brain’s electrical circuitry. In the BBC documentary “Lightning: Nature Strikes Back,” a lightning strike victim received magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Even though there was no apparent physical damage, the electrical impulses revealed that his brain functions were re-wired by the lightning. In another analysis of human cognition, Allan Snyder discovered that people undergoing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) could for a few minutes suddenly exhibit savant intelligence –– exceptional surges of brilliant mental ability –– as a short-term effect of magnetic brain stimulation.

Associate professor Koichi Takaki at Iwate University in Japan recently tested DNA’s reaction to high-voltage lightning –– with 50,000 to 100,000 volts for a 10-millionth of a second. During the artificial lightning process, Takaki found that “secreted protein and enzymes initially decreased but then multiplied dramatically.” He said lots of lightning yields a good harvest of everyday farm crops such as shiitake mushrooms. Scientists at Florida’s Scripps Research Institute have shown for the first time that “lifeless” proteins, devoid of all genetic material, can evolve just like higher forms of life. Charles Weissmann, who led the study, said: “In viruses, mutation is linked to changes in nucleic acid sequence that leads to resistance. Now, this adaptability has moved one level down –– to prions and protein folding –– and it’s clear that you do not need nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) for the process of evolution.” (“Lifeless prion proteins are capable of evolution,” BBC, January 1, 2010)

If protein and enzyme secretions can significantly multiply via lightning processes, and “protein folding” is able to evolve as higher life forms do, an electromotive force might also critically alter the optical discharges or “biophoton emissions” of DNA molecules. Researchers at the Joint Quantum Institute led by Ian Spielman have recently created “synthetic magnetic fields” using visible light. With the metal bending ability of Uri Geller, biophoton emissions evidently convey a charge on neutral atoms and create a synthetic magnetic field to which they respond –– even though no field is present.

For reasons still unclear, certain individuals can store not only sparks, but also large amounts of electricity in their bodies, discharging it with consequences ranging from humorous to extremely dangerous. In 1988, British newspapers featured Pauline Shaw, 46, who claimed that her body was so full of electricity that her touch could damage household appliances. She was reported to have destroyed 25 irons, 18 toasters, 15 kettles, 6 tumble dryers, 10 washing machines, 12 television sets, 12 radios, 3 VCRs, and at least 250 light bulbs. She said that she once damaged her bank’s computer by leaning on the terminal. Doctors who examined Pauline theorized that hypersensitivity or stress might have somehow been responsible for her condition. She had destroyed every appliance in her house –– but her strong point was light bulbs. When she walked beneath one, it exploded.

In 1980, Cheshire woman Jacqueline Priestman, at the age of 22, suddenly noticed she was changing the channels on her TV set without touching it. Sparks would leap from electrical sockets when she moved toward them. When Jacqueline touched something made of metal, she’d get an electric shock. By 1984, Jacqueline had wrecked more than 24 vacuum cleaners and local service men refused to visit her home.

Sally Wallbank of Lancashire is another supercharged being listed in the UK, where there are about 40 people similarly able. She had blown the motors in 6 washing machines and 5 vacuum cleaners, wiped her mortgage record from her bank’s computer, and caused a cash register to charge two thousand dollars for a lettuce. Sally immobilized every car she had traveled in due to electrical system failures.

Related reports are so frequent that Street Light Interference (SLI) Syndrome is now routinely alleged to be a person’s interference with electrical items. People that cope with this condition are known as “SLIders,” a phrase coined by Hilary Evans, a British archivist and writer. According to Holly Beth Anderle: “Computers may malfunction, batteries go dead, sound systems blow, and cell phone batteries refuse to hold a charge or the phones themselves go haywire. Most SLIders have no idea what is happening to them or what is causing the problem.”

Could the Street Light Interference syndrome be a kind of mental savantism related to biological electromagnetic fields?  During his research, Hilary Evans quoted a leading Hungarian physicist who is an authority on ball lightning:

“In my opinion during such incidents some special, presently not known type of magnetic field is created around the body, which has an effect upon the structure of the materials. Consequently their fundamental properties are changed temporarily: like their tensile stress, electric conductivity, magnetic momentum, optical properties, etc. The same effects are detected in the case of ‘metal bending,’ or similar features are observed sometimes around ball lightnings.”

As for the case of ‘metal bending,’ professor George Egeyly, a Budapest physicist at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Central Research Institute for Physics, in recent times put pen to paper saying: “I put the spoon that Uri bent into my pocket and kept checking it every 3-4 minutes. It gradually bent to about 90 degrees in 15 minutes while in my own possession with no one around me. The spoon was later examined by electron beam scattering.”

I met with Uri Geller in Athens once more before the New Year. He came with his manager Shipi Shtrang to the Image Design Centre wax museum, run by Dimitris Hasekidis and Stella Ioannidou. But just as Uri embarked on bending a spoon, I suddenly experienced the SLIders condition. After only five photos my digital camera screen said: “Replace Batteries.” Yet the batteries were by all accounts freshly charged. The mix-up led to some finger pointing.

Uri’s critics fail to recognize that the real meaning of the “Geller Effect” is that metal bends without him touching it. In November, I had seen a spoon’s handle slowly bend by itself for almost a minute as it lay on a floor.  A former officer of the US National Security Agency also once said: “As he talked, the spoon continued to bend and fell on the floor.” Dr. Wernher von Braun of NASA renown likewise reported: “Geller has bent my ring in the palm of my hand without ever touching it.” Astronaut Edgar Mitchell said that Uri is not a magician, and those who claim he plays with slight of hand or other trickery are in fact ignorant of the Geller Effect.

My mind suddenly raced back to the 1970s. I had a daydream about windmills, the isle of Mycone, and Mr. Landon Kite, Staff Assistant to the President of America. He once considered “remote viewing” and a Near East corsair’s well –– sealed with seven metal seals.

Why is Bohr’s model of atomic hydrogen (water-maker) inscribed on a very old well seal? Don’t ask. If you think this is a hoax, you’re out of time. It describes the Rydberg formula for the spectral emission lines of the deuterium atom.

Remind us to show you how the well seal is a tryblion, as said by the Bruce Codex. What’s a tryblion? An ancient spoonful. Who broke the metal seal? If you think this is a hoax, you’re out of time.

We’re searching for a small rod in the center, the meson or quark-antiquark pair. It looks like the “f”-shaped sound-hole of a violin. Like an atomic lightning bolt, that nuclear boson filament is the strongest force in nature. The missing “God particle” vibrates to create quantum mass, and the ground of all material being. We call it a mathematical string.

Who broke the well seal? Now you see it. Now you don’t. Like a thief in the night, a spectral Prometheus stole the fire of heaven. Have you seen a comely stranger, a Man in Black? Who is worthy to open the seals? The one of Israel, whose mind melts steel.

Our search went on for over 20 years, until a cold war finally ended. And now the sixth seal is no longer in its place. It was a limited offer. Discontinued. Withdrawn. The mysterious metal tryblion on an antiquated well system for many generations is gone. Missing from the waterfront castle gate.

The Western bigots and deniers who sit with Darius aren’t his guests. They’re his bosses. How else could he get a hadron collider? Designed by IG Farben fugitives. He wants to create a man-made black hole, with a screen dump of the Higgs particle.

Darius’ scheme is an imitator experiment based on the 1945 German “Uranium Engine” by Heisenberg, a founder of quantum mechanics. It was not a bomb. His time machine of biblical hell. Uranium deuteride can be used as a nano-trigger, injected into a human target assembly. Darius seeks guinea pigs to sit in the pathway of binary fission, the warp of space-time, fully awake:

Regrettably, the sixth seal is no longer in its place. Now you see it. Now you don’t. Yet beneath an olden fountain lingers a channel of quantum entanglement, like a book of life. Just what did you think the sacred tryblion was, a trophy you could steal and put on your bookshelf? The tryblion has its lawful owner. Have you not known? The seventh seal is your mind, which only he can open.

What happens to you when ball lightning strikes you?  Ball lightning is up till now an unfamiliar phenomenon. A standard hypothesis currently suggests that ball lightning consists of vaporized silicon burning through oxidation. Another theory is that some ball lightning is the transfer of microscopic primordial black holes through the atmosphere, as proposed by Mario Rabinowitz in “Astrophysics and Space Science.”

Uri Geller in Greece

Part 2: Zorba and Biophoton Magnetism

The formation of synthetic magnetic fields using visible light could correspond to the Geller Effect.  Biophoton emissions are linked to the body’s metabolism.

In December 2009, physicists for the first time used laser light to generate “synthetic magnetism,” an exotic condition in which neutral atoms suddenly begin to behave as if they were charged particles interacting with a magnetic field –– even though no such field is present and the atoms have no charge. Research has shown that the body emits visible light 1,000 times less intense than the levels to which our naked eyes are sensitive. Living creatures emit very weak light, which is thought to be a byproduct of biochemical reactions involving free radicals. To discover more about this faint visible light, scientists in Japan recently employed extraordinarily sensitive cameras capable of detecting single photons. In July 2009, they revealed, “The human body literally glows, emitting a visible light in extremely small quantities at levels that rise and fall with the day.”

After meeting with Uri Geller in November at the Argo Gallery in Athens, I noted his telepathic friendship with the musician Sting, a royal ark found in a Macedonian tomb, and two sudden network blackouts –– on the streets where I live and work. Rick Stokes, the news editor of The Anomalist website joked, “We can’t wait for Part Two!” My second meeting with Uri Geller in Athens was on December 10, at the Hilton hotel.

With us was Giannis Tsolakos, a familiar Greek artist and iconographer (hagiographer) praised by Mikis Theodorakis, composer of the musical score for the film “Zorba the Greek.” Tsolakos’ mural painting of Mikis Theodorakis is in the Megaron Athens International (Athens Concert Hall).

Dimitris Hasekides, the futuristic designer of Image Design Centre (Athens’ wax museum), was also there. The museum had appointed the iconographer Tsolakos to create a portrait of Uri Geller as a birthday gift, and we were at the Hilton to present it to him.

Almost as soon as the iconographer finished stirring his coffee cup, Uri respectfully took the Hilton teaspoon and lightly rubbed it. Its handle began to curve. Uri gave the spoon back to Tsolakos and it continued to twist in the iconographer’s hand. When it finally stopped bending at about ninety degrees, Hasekides took the teaspoon and tried to uncurl it, but he said that it felt too rigid.

Another friend Uri Geller met that evening was Manolis Rassoulis, famous in Greece as a songwriter and singer. Music fans had lately flocked to see Beyonce present a concert in Athens. Also at hand was publisher Antonis Limberis and reporters from the Espresso newspaper, who were in high spirits after filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola recently came to town. Uri bent a few more spoons for his visitors while they sat for press photographs.

Vicky Kaya is a Greek model, television presenter and actress featured in numerous fashion magazines. Vicky hosted the 2009 Star Hellas beauty pageant and is now hosting the Greek version of Top Model. She gave a recent account of sitting next to Uri Geller on an airplane flight. He amazed Vicky by straightforwardly bending her airline meal spoon with his intent gaze and then inquired if she’d ask for another spoon.

When I first saw Uri Geller mentally coil a teaspoon in person, by luck it fell to the floor. The outlying spoon twirled and persisted to bend and move around on the ground by itself. For a fleeting moment, I imagined an army of spoons –– walking along an ocean floor.

The weirdness of coincidental backdrop events was also riveting. Uri Geller predicted on his live ANT1 TV show that the economist and politician Antonis Samaras would become the next leader of Greece’s opposition New Democracy party, although Samaras was trailing behind in the polls. On November 29, Antonis Samaras was elected the new leader of Greece’s conservative opposition party.

On December 9, UFO enthusiasts, military analysts, and scientists around the world were looking for answers to bizarre early morning lights that were visible across the sky in Norway. Visible for almost two minutes, the spiraling tentacle dragged a sphere of mysterious light that captivated awestruck Norwegians. It resembled a spoon winding in the sky. According to some reports, the unexplained lights may have been caused by the failure of a Russian missile test.

On December 14, a day of remembrance was observed for Cyprus’s former president Tassos Papadopoulos, a few days after thieves stole his body from his grave. Leaving no clues, tomb raiders used the cover of darkness, a thunderstorm and a power cut to dig up the former president’s corpse after removing a 250kg stone slab. Cyprus requested Interpol’s help because in truth such a ruthless offense had never been committed in the island. State television interrupted normal programming to broadcast live reports and reactions to the humiliation. Uri Geller cancelled public visits on that day. Uri had moved with his family to Cyprus at the age of 11, where he attended a Catholic high school in Nicosia and learned English.

As I tracked Uri Geller online with his December Twitter posts, I observed that the Twitter time stamps did not match the sky brightness in a number of Uri’s photos. Were they due to a computer glitch, or were they deliberately made to misinform? On the early hours of December 18, the Iranian Cyber Army claimed that it had hacked into Twitter, leaving millions exasperated and annoyed. The motive behind the cyber attack was not known.

How Does Uri Geller Bend Spoons?

The above-mentioned experiment using laser light to generate magnetism was a clear indication that an optically induced “synthetic magnetic field” had been created for the first time. Other findings suggest that light emission is linked to our body clocks, most likely due to how our metabolic rhythms fluctuate over the course of the day.

Dan Eden recently reported that, as said by the Russian scientist Pjotr Garjajev, one of the most essential sources of light and biophoton emissions is DNA. Garjajev purportedly managed to intercept communication from a DNA molecule in the form of ultraviolet photons –– or simply light.

“There are about 100,000 chemical reactions happening in every cell each second. The chemical reaction can only happen if the molecule that is reacting is excited by a photon… Once the photon has excited a reaction it returns to the field and is available for more reactions… We are swimming in an ocean of light.” –– “The Real Bioinformatics Revolution: Proteins and Nucleic Acids Singing to One Another?” (Paper available at report@i-sis.org.uk)

Research group leader Ian Spielman, the physicist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) who conducted the synthetic magnetism experiment said, “The achievement provides unprecedented insights into fundamental physics and the behavior of quantum objects, and opens up entirely new ways to study the nature of condensed-matter systems that were barely imaginable before.”

Fritz-Albert Popp, a theoretical biophysicist at the University of Marburg in Germany, had been teaching radiology — the interaction of electromagnetic (EM) radiation on biological systems. Using a sensitive photomultiplier, it become apparent to Popp that biophoton emissions had a purpose outside of the body. Wave resonance wasn’t only being used to communicate inside the body, but between living things as well.

With biophoton emissions, Popp believed he had an answer to this question. This phenomenon of coordination and communication could only occur in a holistic system with one central orchestrator. Popp showed in his experiments that these weak light emissions were sufficient to orchestrate the body’s repairs. The emissions had to be low intensity because these communications took place on a very small, intracellular, quantum level. Additional tests with a photomultiplier showed that water fleas were sucking up the light emitted from each other. Popp tried the same experiment on small fish and got the same result. He also examined the effects of stress. In a stressed state, the rate of biophoton emissions goes up –– a defense mechanism designed to restore the body’s equilibrium.

Biophoton emissions seemingly confer a “charge” on sub-populations of neutral atoms and create a synthetic magnetic field to which they react. This unlocks an incredible possibility to realize totally new states of matter.

Why Does Uri Geller Bend Spoons?

When asked why he bends spoons, Uri Geller replied: “The spoon is an ancient tool.” He told us that he owns a very antiquated spoon –– thousands of years old –– from the time of the pyramids.

“The spoon is sensual,” Uri continued. We put the spoon in our mouth. It sends us a subconscious signal of flavor and pleasure.

“And the spoon gives us nourishment,” Uri Geller said. We use the spoon to receive our food and our sustenance.

I added that a particular kind of ancient spoon didn’t have a handle. It was known as the tryblion.

The household or Megista Tryblion was a flat disc-shaped plate with a concave well in its middle. It was a curved bowl–– like the interior of a sphere –– used to measure regular “cupfuls.”

But the Ieron or Sacred Tryblion was a smaller cast-iron mortar plate in which ingredients were pounded with a pestle into minuscule amounts of “spoonfuls.” Doctors used it to measure out quantities for prescriptions. It also became a standard weight and measure for the seals and outlets of ancient water springs, according to Epiphanius of Salamis.

In languages descended from Latin, another name for Ieron Tryblion is Holy Grail. The 12th Century story told by Chrétien de Troyes, based on an unknown book from Count Philip of Flanders, combines biblical lore with myths of a cauldron or well. In medieval romances Uri-ens is the guardian of the Grail.

Uri Geller in Greece – Part 1: Sting and the Scorpion Tail

The award-winning musician Sting once said that he could bend a spoon with the power of his thoughts, according to Uri Geller’s website. I had spoken with Sting during a press conference years ago and asked him what he thought of the “Macedonia issue.” He told me that the English are not taught very much about Alexander the Great. So I wrote a brief outline of my lost tribe folklore discoveries and asked Uri to forward it to Sting.

At around 700 BC, Babylon invaded Israel and supposedly carried off the so-called “lost tribes,” including the tribe of Mahaneh-DAN, together with the Ark of the Covenant. Not much later, a Pelasgian refugee tribe appeared in the Balkans, calling itself Mahe-DAN (Mahke-don, or Macedonian).

The gold larnax or royal box (left photo) found in a Macedonian tomb in 1977 fits the description of the lost Ark of the Covenant, with a star-crown on its lid (Star of Jacob). Few ancient artifacts bear such a close resemblance to the lost ark. Other legends say that the biblical ark was brought to Ethiopia, and that a priest carries a replica of the ark (right photo) during religious holidays. Notice the similarities of the star-crown in both photos.

Uri Geller’s latest TV show, The Successor (The Next Uri Geller) originated from Israel and swept throughout the world. The ANT1 premiere of the Greek version (Ο διάδοχος του Uri Geller) hosted by Christos Feredinos was the prime-time winner in its launch on October 24.

After watching the first show, in which Uri asked his viewers to put spoons and old clocks near their TV sets, I went through a strange happening on October 25. A few days earlier I had written to Uri about Sting’s psi-ability. Sting’s birth name is Gordon Sumner. On Sunday evening I had the notion that I could hear Sting say: “I’ll give you an hour!” An hour to do what? I thought to myself and quickly forgot about it. Meanwhile, on the previous night, my sister had taken out a broken alarm clock and placed it near a TV set.

About an hour later there was a sudden power failure on my entire street and all the lights went out. As my sister tried to light a candle, she was startled to hear the ringing of an alarm from another room. She thought about Uri’s show, and said, “I can’t believe this.”

By now, pandemonium had broken out in my apartment building. People came out of their flats in their pajamas with flashlights. The shrill ringing sound was coming from a burglar alarm on the sixth floor and the woman who lived there didn’t know how to turn it off. The hectic incident lasted about an hour before the lights came on again. An hour to do what? To complicate matters, that same evening at my place of work (on another street of Athens) the outside telephone lines suddenly sparked a short circuit and our cabling needed to be replaced by the phone company.

On November 22, Uri Geller and master painter Andreas Charalambides exhibited their joint lithograph book “Symbols” with 11 lithographs at the Argo Gallery in central Athens. I went to the gallery and spent about five hours there, talking with Uri Geller and his guests. On that occasion I also observed Uri bend three spoons.

Most of Uri Geller’s critics claim that he bends spoons by one of the following trick methods:

1. The spoon is pre-bent or fractured beforehand and is ready to break when Uri touches it.
2. Uri secretly applies a chemical powder or substance that softens the metal and makes it bend.
3. Uri uses a secret electro-magnetic device that charges the metal and makes it bend.

Yet none of the above explanations correspond to the details of what I closely observed.

As Uri chatted with an elderly gentleman from a humanitarian group, someone brought a spoon from the café next door. Uri held the spoon’s bowl with his left hand and lightly rubbed the handle with two fingers of his right hand. The handle then started to slowly bend upward. Uri said if the spoon is placed on a metal surface, it bends faster. He then balanced the spoon on the metal armrest of a lounge chair. But because the spoon was still bending, it fell to the floor. The spoon continued to bend by itself as it lay on the floor. The curious part is that the spoon’s handle bent up, not down, as one might expect if gravity were pulling on the weight of a pre-softened metal rod.

For a moment it reminded me of a scorpion lifting its tail. In a dreamlike way, the spoon seemed to have a life of its own. It wiggled around on the floor! Uri then picked up the spoon and handed it to the elderly man. It continued to slowly bend in the gentleman’s hand until it reached a ninety-degree angle. I then touched the spoon at the crease where it had bent. I realized that I would not be able to straighten it back into shape unless I used both hands with the spoon handle leveraged on my knee. The spoon ridge was hard and firm, not soft or malleable. It was not warm. And there was no feel of powder or emulsion on it.

I watched Uri do the same thing with two other spoons that were given to him by other guests of the gallery. Uri Geller’s critics should recall that he has been bending spoons since the age of five, and that there are witnesses to that reality. If a new-fangled substance or tiny electro-magnetic gadget that could rapidly twist metal existed in the early 1950s, it would have been sold to major industry, not as the plaything of a child.
